Oh, come on the fight is over already?!, I meant what I said about your comic being graphic novel material, But honestly, the main villain beating everyone, it’s really starting to get boring, I do want to see how the story ends, and how the bad guys will die, this whole thing, where the main villain is unkillable or least unable to get hurt, it’s really starting to get boring.
This page implies that the great and powerful Darkseid had his arm bitten or ripped off by Old God Ugly on page 605 .. and now his only retaliatory response is to Omega Beam the bride of Old God Ugly .. I can’t reconcile that mentally. Oh well.
I’m glad the battle is over, because we’re all here for the sex, but yeah squidwirth over there being able to beat darkseid is a bit lame. at least have them at a stalemate. only hope lobo better not cap out.

Darkseid is one of the major heavy hitters out there. The battle should have gone on longer. Yet, Darkseid is going to use his Omega Beams to take out one of this creature’s queens! Good luck bringing her back from that!
I don’t get why people are surprised Darkseid lost. Superman was easily defeated and Nyarlathotep has become significantly stronger since then. He said in the beginning Zatanna was the only one who could’ve banished him when he was still vulnerable, but she failed and doomed all of creation by choosing her lust. Nyarlathotep has already won, now he is just collecting his spoils of war.
Nobodies really surprised that Darkseid lost, their just surprised that the entire fight between arguably the two heaviest hitters present in this series lasting a solid 3 hits. Thats just boring, ngl. Yeah, Nyarlathotep was always going to win, but I think we were all hoping for something more than just “oop, Nya just took every single hit and then just cut off Darkseid’s arm, winning”. If you want a comparison, its like in Marvel’s “What If…?”, What if Ultron Won, where Thanos stepped out of a portal with 5 stones and Ultron just instantly cut him in half. Oh okay, what an incredibly boring fight between the two strongest beings in the universe.
