I have a question. Normally, every female is already influenced by his pure presence, even when he was less powerful than he is now. How is it that Mary is absolutely unaffected by that?
I think they prob have the same tech some of the other heroes had (like Killer Frost & Harley). Even while she was being corrupted Aquawoman raged at Mary for betraying them, and she was part of Mary’s group

My guess is that he’s turned his aura down to keep up appearances until she was close enough to not be able to escape.
