After the fall from grace and death of her beloved Arthas. Jaina Proudmore fell into a very dark place. she wasn’t unable to understand why someone as virtuous as Arthas could possibly turn into the Lich King. In her search for answers realized that the only way to do that was to follow the path of his beloved. To crown herself with the thorny helm and to fuse her spirit with that of Arthas as Ner’zhul.
